An object (something – Everything, the face of it) is a technical term in philosophy often used in contrast to the term subject.

MAKING IDEAS HAPPEN

The pragmatist Charles S. Peirce defines the broad notion of an object as anything that we can think or talk about.

TESTING IDEAS IN THE REAL WORLD

In a general sense it is any entity: the pyramids, the number seven, a disbelief in predestination or the fear of cats.

“An idea that is not dangerous is unworthy of being called an idea at all.”Oscar Wilde

History (from Greek ἱστορία, historia, meaning “inquiry, knowledge acquired by investigation”) is the study of the past, specifically how it relates to humans. It is an umbrella term that relates to past events as well as the memory, discovery, collection, organization, presentation, and interpretation of information about these events. Scholars who write about history are called historians. Events occurring prior to written record are considered prehistory.
